Actually late Monday night....
I got an email from my brother today:
From: Paul Mitchell Let me say that you are a gigantic loser for not updating your web-page in over a month. I wonder if you'll get your readers back if you even start updating again. Maybe you should post a picture of yourself in a speedo or something to get people to visit?
Well, consider me chastised. And, taking his advice, I did put up a new photo, though I'm not wearing anything fancy. It's on the bio page. It's my most recent mugshot from this last school year, which I finally found in a long-lost pile of papers at school.
The lack of updates over the last month come from being pretty busy with the end of the year stuff at school and a generally full social calendar. I've seen several movies: The Matrix Reloaded, X2: X-Men United, Down with Love, The Good Girl, I Spy, Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, and Darkness Falls. And probably one or two others in there, too.
New music includes a dozen classical CDs bought for a pittance, and Derek Webb's solo album She Must and Shall Go Free, and the self-titled Downhere.
There are four days of school remaining. Finals are going on right now, but what makes this year different from most is that due to extensive remodeling of the wing my classroom is in, I have to have my room completely emptied by Saturday, May 31 (the day after the last day of school), and I won't be able to get back into my room until the beginning of August.
So I've been pulling down posters and emptying my cabinet. There's not much left other than the computers, which will be in use until the 30th.
Anyway, I'll try to be better about updating now that school's going to be out, but right now I'm going to look over the semester final exam for Computer Science I (which the kids will take tomorrow morning) and make sure it's ready to go.
